Getting to New Orleans/ Transportation by Air

Hotel Monteleone is in walking distance to many great sites and you should consider not renting a car unless you plan on visiting the many plantations and attractions outside the French Quarter. Ground transportation from Louis Armstrong New Orleans is readily available.
Taxicabs: A cab ride costs $33 from the airport to the Central Business District for one or two persons and $14 (per passenger) for three or more passengers.
